The purpose of this badge is to stress the impact modes of communication have on our ability to communicate, as it highlights how power functions through language. Upon completion, you will be positioned to make rhetorical decisions about usage and language style that consider what you want to communicate, your potential audience, how you will reach that audience, and the context for communication.
